Open Water Scuba Diver OWSD

The SDI Open Water Diver course will cover all the skills and knowledge needed for open water scuba diving, including:
Aquatic environment: Vision, Light, sound, heat loss, Tides, Currents, waves, Swell, etc.
Physics and physiology: buoyancy, pressure, air spaces, compressed air breathing, mixed gases, etc.
Selection, assembly, use and maintenance of diving equipment
Dive Planning
Basic diving skills including mask and regulator handling, underwater swimming, buoyancy control, basic rescue techniques and emergency procedures

The SDI Advanced Adventure Diver course will deepen the skills and knowledge needed for scuba diving in open water, including a first experience in deeper diving (30m) and navigation.
In addition to these two specialties, the diver chooses three other first experiences from a wide range of specialties:

- Altitude diving
- Ice diving
- Diving from a boat
- Running Diving

Your first steps as a diving professional!
The SDI Dive Master course completes the leisure training and allows you to become a dive guide.
The training includes a technical diving part but also an organizational part:
- Standards and procedures SDI
- Responsabilities and assurance
- Organisation of a dive
- Guidance in and out of the water
- Advanced knowledge of equipment and its management
- etc.
Courses and registrations
Diving trips
Diving trips are generally done on Sunday morning, with a site that varies (Lake Geneva, Le Bourget or Annecy).
Once you have registered with the Club, you will have all the information during the week to organize yourself for your next dive:
- All outings offer self-guided or supervised excursions if necessary.
- Equipment is fully provided for members if needed.
